Killing of 22 people in raids in Amran, Dhalea is very painful: Grande

SANAA, Sept. 25 (YPA) – The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lise Grande on Wednesday said that 22 people, including women and children, were killed and 15 others injured in air strikes in Amran and Dhalea provinces during the past two days.

“This is very cruel and painful,” Grande added in a press statement.

She noted that it is very unfortunate that these tragedies have occurred in conjunction with convening of the United Nations General Assembly, in which the world leaders gather to promote security and peace.

“The time has come for finding ways to end this heinous war,” the UN coordinator said.
