Mohammed Abdul Salam mocks Saudi foreign minister al-Jubeir

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Head of the National Negotiating Delegation Mohammed Abdul Salam on Tuesday described Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir as a “liar ” and mocked Saudi Arabia’s urgent appeal to America.

Abdull Salam said on Twitter that “al-Jubair declared the aggression war against Yemen from Washington, and at the time he boasted that his country is going to win the war in few weeks.”

“Now the Kingdom flees back to the U.S. for seeking help and protection after nearly five years of its war in Yemen,” he added.

“The U.S.-backed Saudi-UAE coalition continues its war and siege on Yemen and does not intend to respond to the peace initiative we offered last week,” he said.

Abdul Salam’s comment came after coalition fighter jets killed nine civilians in air strikes on Amran and Hajjah provinces on Sunday.
