Yemeni tribe has prominent role in September 21 revolution success: Information Minister

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) –Yemeni Minister of Information Daifallah al-Shami on Monday said the Yemeni tribe had a prominent role in the success of the glorious September 21 revolution by supplying the revolutionists with money, men and food convoys.

“The Yemeni tribe has played a prominent and major role throughout history in confronting the invaders and occupiers,” al-Shami explained in an interview with Saada News website.

Al-Shami referred that the Yemeni political spectrum before the aggression had made great strides in reaching a political solution acceptable to all, but the intentions of the aggression countries to foil the negotiations were already exist.

He noted that the province of Saada was the revolution gate, since the first demonstration staged there in Dahyan city in 2011, and the demonstrations did not stop for one week after that until September 21, 2014.

“The revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi’s speeches were giving the revolutionary people a guideline and a sincere revolutionary approach,” al-Shami said.

The information minister confirmed that the September 21 revolution had gaven the Yemeni tribe its real, honorable and national role in addressing the situation of the country.

He pointed out that the peace and national partnership agreement represented a national agreement that was recognized by all countries of the world, adding that “Ansaruallah presented a fanciest model in the partnership when they left room for others in the government.”
