Shura welcomes President al-Mashat’s renewal of amnesty

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Monday welcomed President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat’s announcement on the renewal of amnesty in order to promote national reconciliation.

In a statement issued Monday, the Shura Council also appreciated President al-Mashat’s initiative for peace by inviting all parties from different parties to engage in genuine dialogue and peace negotiations that lead to comprehensive national reconciliation under the national constants.

The statement called on all deceived individuals and leaders to take advantage of this opportunity and align with the homeland, praising the positions of its members and national personalities abroad who refused to be one of the tools of aggression on Yemen.

The Shura Council called on international organizations, led by the United Nations and peace-loving countries, to pressure the aggression coalition to lift the ban on Sanaa International Airport and stop intercepting ships heading to Hodeidah port carrying food, medicines, humanitarian aid and oil derivatives to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
