Parliament discusses report on oil derivatives crisis

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The Parliament in its meeting on Monday discussed the report of the Development, Oil and Mineral Resources Committee on the causes of the crisis of oil derivatives and domestic gas in the capital Sanaa and provinces.

The MPs stressed that the National Salvation Government should play its role in combating the black market of oil derivatives and domestic gas, which lead to monopoly of these materials and exploiting the conditions and crises suffered by the Yemeni people as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

The Parliament urged the concerned bodies to address the United Nations to pressure the aggression coalition states to release ships, which are frequently held in sea in order to further increase the suffering of the Yemeni people and subject them.

In the meeting, the MPs called on the UN to work to stop the aggression, end the siege, and deal positively with the recent initiative launched by President of the Supreme Political Council for peace to spare the region the scourge of war and destruction.
