SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Saturday called on the Saudi-UAE coalition to stop its strikes on Hodeidah province.
Guterres’ spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement “the Secretary-General is concerned from air strikes carried out by the coalition on the vicinity of the al-Hali district and north of Hodeidah port city.”
The UN urges all parties to exert more efforts and ensure commitment to the Stockholm Agreement signed in December 2018.
The statement recalled all the parties to an adherence to ceasefire established by the Agreement during the latest joint meeting of the Redeployment Coordination Committee earlier this month.
