SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has shut down a pipeline to transport crude oil to Bahrain after Yemeni drone attacks on two Saudi oil facilities, two trade sources told “Reuters” on Monday.
The pipeline, which transfers between 220,000 and 230,000 barrels per day of Arab light crude from Saudi Aramco to Bapco company of Bahrain, was stopped after Saturday’s attack, mainly cutting the production of light crude grades, one of the two sources said.
The sources added that Bapco is working to provide ships to bring about two million barrels of Saudi crude as a result of the closure of the pipeline.
