FM confirms national leadership’s commitment to Stockholm Agreement

SANAA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Sunday met with Head of Office of the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen Nicola Davies.

In the meeting, Sharaf confirmed the commitment of the national leadership in Sanaa to the implementation of Stockholm Agreement.

He noted that the other party is still maneuvering without clear position forgetting that the output of Brussels is a step towards lasting peace arrangements for Yemen and Yemenis, and not a surrender agreement, as the aggression countries and their mercenaries fancy.

The meeting touched on the latest developments in the region and the UN envoy’s efforts to revive the political process in Yemen.
