Dozens of Saudi military vehicles arrive in Shabwa

SHABWA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi military vehicles arrived on Saturday in Shabwa province, southeast Yemen.

“Islah Party’s factions in the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa province, received 73 Saudi military pick-up cars which arrived through the border crossing of al-Wadeiah,” sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the Islah factions dispatched a group of the military cars to the city of Shoqra in Abyan province, while many of them were deployed on military points at the entrances of Shabwa and its main streets.

On Friday, UAE military reinforcements, consisting of infantry personnel, armored vehicles, patrol cars and military supplies, arrived in Zinjbar district of Abyan for the UAE-backed security belt force to strengthen its positions in Khanfar district and secure Abyan-Shabwa road.
