Yemeni army destroys Saudi military vehicle in Jawf

JAWF, Sept. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday managed to destroy a Saudi military vehicle carrying a group of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the military vehicle was destroyed by an improvised explosive device planted by army’s engineering unit inal-Aqabah front in Khub Washaef district, killing all its crew members.

On Tuesday, the Yemeni forces carried out an offensive against US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries at Taibat al-Esm area, the official said.

The attack left dozens of the Saudi-led mercenrires dead and wounded, the official comforted.
