Yemeni army foils Saudi-led mercenaries’ infiltration attempt in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on late Tuesday thwarted an infiltration attempt by Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries towards army’s locations in Hodeidahah province, western Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency

According to the official, the mercenrires tried to advance towards south of al-Jah area in The Beit al-Faq district, but were foiled by the army forces, forcing them into retreat.

Meanwhile, the coalition forces targeted several residential neighborhoods in 50th and Sana’a Streets, using heavy machine gun, causing material damages.

Earlier in the day, The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries targeted citizens’ homes and property in Duraihmi district by various weapons, the official added.
