FM discusses with WHO’s Representative health conditions in Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday discussed with the World Health Organization (WHO) Resident Representative in Sanaa Dr. Altaf Musani the deteriorating health conditions in Yemen as a result of the ongoing aggression.

The meeting dealt with aspects related to facilitating WHO activities and focused on addressing the health disaster caused by the cholera outbreak in a number of provinces recently in cooperation with local medical centers and hospitals.

WHO’s representative confirmed that the organization seeks to strengthen cooperation with local health centers and institutions to provide health services to citizens.

Musani expressed his hope to leave during his tenure a positive imprint of the organization role in serving the Yemeni people in the current stage.
