Mohammed al-Houthi sends message to UAE rulers

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, member of the Supreme Political Council has on Monday called on the leadership of the United Arab Emirates to empower its citizens with their democratic right instead of going into wars in Yemen.

“We call on the UAE leadership to listen to the demands of its citizens and enable them to have the democratic right they look forward t,” al-Houthi said on his Twitter account.

“It is strange that the rulers of the UAE claim to fight wars to protect the freedom of others, while their citizens lose it, ” he added.

“The real happiness of the Emirati citizen is to give him the well-being of rights, which represents a real pride in his confidence by exercising his role in genuine participation in the representation of the people through free elections that are not restricted, ” he said.

“This is the real battle to be fought instead of the absurd adventures and wars in Yemen,” al-Houthi concluded.
