Islah party militias claim responsibility for attack against Emiratis forces in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Sept. 9 (YPA) – A military commander of Islah party in Ataq city on Sunday has claimed the responsibility for the attack against the UAE-backed militias in Dhala’a area of Shabwah province.

Major General “Salem Al- Awlaqi” admitted that the Islah factions involved in the exiled Hadi’s forces had carried out a tight ambush targeting Emirati forces while they were passing in Dhala’a area.

” The fact that the incident of the Emiratis in ” Dhala’a” this morning is due to an ambush set up by the free people, what comes is more painful for all the invaders of the United Arab Emirates, ” the commander of al- Ahmar’s forces in Ataq Major General “Salem Al- Awlaqi” said on Twitter page.

Sources told ” YPA” that an Emirati armoured vehicle coming from al-Alam military Camp, carrying armed men and Emirati officers, was targeted by an explosive device in Dhala’a area of Haban district.
