Hadi’s government surprises Saudi Arabia with new condition to hold talks with UAE-backed separatists

ADEN , Sept. 5 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition backed government has stressed the necessity of UAE-backed STC’s militias withdrawal from all positions and camps controlled by the militias in Aden and Abyan provinces, in order to succeed the Jeddah dialogue.

The so -called deputy foreign minister in the coalition-backed government Mohammed Al-Hadrami confirmed this during his meeting with the Deputy Head of the European Union Mission in Yemen Ricardo Villa.

Al-Hadrami further confirmed that the coalition-backed government welcomed the invitation of the Saudi Arabia to dialogue with the Transitional Council, stressing the need to “stand first before the deviation of the role of the UAE in the coalition to support the so-called legitimacy in all seriousness and transparency, adding that this is the right way for the success of any dialogue.

An official source stated to ” Marib Press website” pro-Islah media outlet that the coalition-backed government refused to hold any dialogue with the UAE-backed ‘s southern transitional, demanding secession before their withdrawal and the return of normal situation to the city of Aden, before what he called the August’s coup.

Hadi’s Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Missari vowed the UAE-backed militias to return to Aden through peace or war.

Hadi’s government officials refuse to accept any pressure to sit down for direct dialogue with transitional militias before implementing full terms.
