Families of prisoners killed in coalition raids on Dhamar begin receiving their bodies

DHAMAR, Sept. 5 (YPA) – Families of about 130 prisoners and detainees killed by Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on the prisoners’ center in Dhamar province began on Wednesday to identify the bodies of their relatives.

Head of the Committee for Prisoners Affairs Abdulqader al-Mortada confirmed the arrival of some families of the prisoners to receive bodies of their relatives from Dhamar Public Hospital.

Al-Mortada explained in a post on Facebook on Wednesday evening that “some families of the prisoners have not yet come to receive the bodies of their relatives,” calling on them to come as soon as possible to receive the bodies, and if they cannot attend for any reason, they can coordinate with the ICRC in this regard.

According to al-Mortada, the committee has coordinated with the ICRC delegation to facilitate the delivery of the bodies of a number of prisoners to their families.
