9 cholera cases recorded in Abyan province

ABYAN, Sept. 4 (YPA) – The Public Health Office in Abyan province has registered nine confirmed cases of cholera in Rasad district of the province.

According to the health office, the medical tests of the patient cases were positive, and four of those cases were transferred to the occupied city of Aden, while five cases are still in the district’s hospital.

Doctors and citizens in the district appealed to the health office to intervene and provide the necessary medicines in health facilities, and work to reduce the spread of the epidemic.
