Update: Yemen’s army drones attack Saudi military sites in King Khalid airbase in Asir

SANAA, Sept. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out fresh bomb-laden drone attacks against King Khalid airbase in Asir the south of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday , the army spokesman said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

The Qasef 2K drones accurately targeted military facilities and aircraft hangars in the airbase in Khamis Mushayt ,causing a suspension in the air traffic, the spokesman Yahya Saria said.

Saria added the air strikes come in retaliatory response to the war crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.

Earlier in the day, the army fired a batch of ballistic missiles, Badr 1, at military sites in Najran regional airport , hitting the targets directly.
