Parliament listens to Education Committee report

SANAA, Sept. 3 (YPA) – The Parliament listened, in its meeting on Tuesday chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, to the Education Committee’s report on the draft law to establish a teacher support and education development fund.

The bill aims at supporting teachers and students, as well as literacy and adult education programs to keep pace with the development in this area and to finance educational projects.

The Parliament postponed completing the discussion of the report to a future session.
