Yemeni army launches batch of ballistic missiles at military targets in Najran Regional Airport

NAJRAN, Sept 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees launched on Tuesday a batch of ballistic missiles at military targets at Najran regional airport and other military targets in Southern part of Saudi Arabia, the military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a statement.

According to the military spokesman, the missile force targeted several Saudi military sites at the airport using a batch of ballistic missiles of the type “Badr 1″.

He stressed that the missiles hit their targets accurately, causing disruption of air traffic at the airport.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e further confirmed that the attack also came in response to the Saudi-led coalition crimes, specifically the ongoing siege and its 52 airstrikes launched against Yemeni targets over the past hours.

The operation carried out in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules, and we have taken all necessary and preventive measures to protect civilians, he concluded.
