Update: Army repels large-scale attack of Saudi mercenaries in Haradh

JIZAN, Sept. 3 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-backed mercenaries were killed and injured on Monday when the Yemen army repelled the mercenaries’ large attack in Harah district off Jizan region, Yemen army spokesman Yahya Sarie  said.

Sarie added that the mercenaries attempted to infiltrate toward the army’s sites from four tracks.

Seven brigades of the coalition’s mercenaries, including Sudanese, participated in the infiltration’s attempt.

Coalition’s warplanes and Apache helicopters supported the mercenaries’ infiltration by launching more than 22 strikes without achieving any progress.

The army destroyed a large number of Saudi’s military vehicles  and inflicted the mercenaries heavy losses in lives.
