Al-Dailami delivers his credentials as Yemen’s ambassador to Iran

TEHRAN, Sept. 1 (YPA) – Yemeni Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Dailami on Sunday handed over a copy of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi had called for the return of official relations and diplomatic representation of Arab and Islamic countries with Yemen, noting to the official relations between Yemen and Iran, which were at the level of presidents, ministers and joint committees, and that there were more than 70 agreements between them.

He confirmed Yemen’s readiness for building brotherly relations based on mutual respect with all peoples of the region.

On Saturday, after the swearing-in of al-Dailami, Al-Mashat expressed hope that the opening of an embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Iran would be the start of reopening embassies of the rest of world countries in the capital Sanaa.
