Shabwani elite soldier assassinated in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen on Thursday afternoon assassinated a soldier affiliated to the so-called “Shabwani elite” forces in al-Huta city of Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

“Masked gunmen opened fire on a soldier of the Shabwani elite in the al-Huta city, injuring him seriously,” a source said.

The soldier was taken to the city’s hospital, but he died of his wounds, the source added.
