Update: Quds-1 missile hits military operations center at Saudi Abha airport

ABHA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s missile force on Wednesday night fired a winged-cruise rocket, Quds-1, at Saudi Abha international airport.

“The missile targeted the military operations center and the warplanes’ hangars, causing the disruption of air traffic at the airport,” the army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said.

The operation came in response to Saudi-led coalition’s crimes and its continual air raids, which amounted to 42 raids during the past hours, the spokesman added.

“We assures Saudi regime that our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on our country and people continue,” said Sarie.

Earlier the night, the Saudi regime announced about intercepting a drone several minutes before targeting Abha airport by Quds-1 missile, a matter that reveals the coalition’s lying, confusion and failure.
