TAIZ, Jan. 22 (YPA) – At least 18 militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition were killed late on Monday in a military operation conducted by the Yemeni army in Yemen’s southwestern province of Taiz, a Defense Ministry official in the capital Sanaa told Yemen Press Agency.
“Intelligence information and an inside job led to the successful action,” said the official.
The operation targeted the Control Office at the coalition-run 17th Brigade camp in Dhabab area.
“The artillery force of the Yemeni army obtained field coordinates and intelligence information, which led to the implementation of the operation in high accuracy,” the official said on condition of anonymity.
