Rule of law is established, reinforced only by respect for Constitution, laws: PM

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Tuesday said that the rule of law is only established and reinforced by the state institutions’ commitment and respect to the Constitution and laws, especially those concerned directly with the implementation process.

This came during the Prime Minister’s participation in the declaration and inauguration of the Legal Training Center of the Legal Affairs Ministry under the slogan “To rationalize the State’s legal work and achieve the principle of the rule of law within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni State”.

Dr. bin Habtoor considered the law the first mark of the state’s sobriety and credibility and the main factor for its stability. He praised the role of the Ministry of Legal Affairs during this exceptional period and the efforts made to move gradually from routine legal work to efficient professional and technical work.

He stressed the importance of continuous capacity development and the compliance with the law by all the state institutions.

On the events developments in the national arena, the prime minister affirmed that the fighting situation prevailing in the southern and eastern provinces under the UAE-Saudi occupation is one of the headlines of the western Zionist project in Yemen and the Arab region.

“Some separatists want to bring us back to the southern Arab state that Britain engineered in the late 1950s of the past century in a regional and primitive manner and abhorrent language,” said Dr. bin Habtoor. “This British-UAE project, supported by Saudi Arabia and the United States, seeks to divide Yemen.”

The enemies and their agents have forgotten that 80 percent of citizens of the Republic of Yemen reject the guardianship and the partition plan, he added.
