Saudi-backed Islah party militants take over Shabwah

SHABWAH, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah party militants on Monday attacked separatist Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias backed by UAE and took over several areas in Shabwah province, sources said.

The Islah party (Muslim Brotherhood) took over Azan city, Haban district’s center and al-Radhmah strategic camp in the province.

According to the sources, the UAE forces withdrew from their headquarters in Balhaf area in the same province and headed to Hadramout province.
