Parliament Speaker meets Palestinian Hamas acting representative

SANAA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Speaker of The Parliament Yahya Ali al-Ra’i on Monday met with Acting Representative of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas Muath Abu Shamala.

In the meeting, al-Ra’i praised the Palestinian resistance’s role and its legitimate struggle against the Zionist enemy, stressed the importance of the Palestinian national factions’ unity in confronting the Zionist enemy.

The parliament’s speaker noted that the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples are gathered by the unity of the struggle against the aggression.

He condemned the rush of some Arab regimes towards normalization with the Zionist enemy, forgetting the struggles of the Arab peoples against this usurper entity.

For his part, Abu Shamala briefed al-Ra’i on the developments of the Palestinian cause and the suffering of the Palestinian people due to the unjust siege.
He hailed the Yemeni people’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, denouncing the normalization of some Arab regimes with the Zionist enemy.
