SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday carried out fresh bomb-laden drone attacks against the King Khalid Airbase in Asir province in southwest of Saudi Arabia, the army spokesman said in a statement.
The Qasef 2K drones targeted military facilities and aircraft hangars in the airbase accurately, causing a suspension in the air traffic, the spokesman Yahya Saria said.
Saria added the strikes come in retaliatory response to the war crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.
The strikes were the second attack in less than 24 hours.
