SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Dozens of Palestinian citizens suffered suffocation on Saturday night after the Israeli occupation forces attacking them during a raid on the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus in the West Bank, Palestinian media reported.
“Enemy forces stormed the town for the second day in a row and fired live bullets and poison gas canisters at Palestinians, causing dozens of suffocations,” Mohammed Azm, mayor of Sebastia, was quoted by Wafa news agency as saying.
The town has been repeatedly raided by the occupation forces and settlers, particularly the archaeological area, in an attempt to displace the Palestinians.
In a related context, the occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians from different areas of the Occupied West Bank at dawn on Sunday.
