Shabwani elite demands reinforcements to confront Brotherhood projects

SHABWA, Aug. 24 (YPA) – Command of the so-called “Shabwani elite force” of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council on Saturday called on all south areas to reinforce it militarily in Shabwa province to confront what it called “brotherization projects” in the province.

In its statement, which Yemen Press Agency obtained a copy of it, the elite force’s command described the troops fighting by Hadi’s side as “misled”, adding that it had given them “the opportunity to return to their senses more than once, but they missed the opportunity after another to implement dictates of their masters in the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist gangs in Marib.”

The statement assured Shabwani elite forces’ full readiness for the confrontation and that the Brotherhood project in Shabwa would not pass.

The elite command concluded its statement by calling on all the southern provinces’ people to rally around the elite forces to support the southern project aspiring to independence.
