Coalition suffers heavy losses after 3 failed infiltration attempts in Najran

NAJRAN, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition mercenaries on Friday suffered large human losses after three infiltration attempts towards the frontier front of Najran, which all were foiled by the Yemeni army and popular committees, an army official said.

The official explained that the army and committees repelled a large-scale infiltration attempt of the coalition forces lasted for six hours in al-Hamad site, killing and injuring many of the coalition mercenaries.

He added that two other infiltration attempts of the coalition towards al-Raba’a and al-Qathamil sites in al-Ajasher desert off Najran were also foiled, leaving dead and wounded in ranks of the coalition forces, he added.

The army’s artillery unit bombed the coalition infiltrators, killing many of them, which doubled the human losses in ranks of the coalition forces.
