Saudi military reinforcements in Marib to support Islah militias

MARIB, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Saudi military reinforcements arrived in Marib province on Wednesday evening to support Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) militias, well-informed sources reported.

According to the sources, about 30 carriers loaded with military equipment and about 60 armored vehicles and cars and other various military gear arrived at Marib coming from Saudi Arabia.

The sources suggested that Saudi Arabia’s policy towards Islah could be changed through support the party’s militias militarily to stop the expansion of the so-called Southern Transitional Council’s militias backed by the UAE in the southern provinces.
