Yemeni army launches offensive on Saudi-led mercenaries in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Thursday launched an offensive on positions of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces attacked the mercenaries at al- Halw front in Maslub district, inflicting heavy casualties on their ranks.

The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the attack, three of them were killed in sniping operations.
