Yemen’s Army Spokesman: The air forces conduct drone attacks on King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia
SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday waged two fresh aerial attacks on King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushayt, southern Saudi Arabia.
Military spokesman Yahya Sare’e said that a number of Qasef-2k drones have attacked important military targets at King Khalid Air Base.
He confirmed thatthe first attack targeted the military communications system at the airbase, hitting its target accurately.
The second attack targeted tanks and the fuel station at the base, hinting its trgets with high accuracy, he added.
Sare’e affirmed that the attack comes in response to the continued Saudi-led aggression’s crimes, blockade and 40 air strikes in which several civilizes were killed and wounded over the past 48 hours.
