Report: Yemen Army wages attacks on Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks against US-backed Saudi-led coalition soldiers and militias  over the past 24 hours, according to the army reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

 

·         In Najran border province:

A ballistic missile, Bader-1, was fired toward the electricity station.

Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled by artillery in Shurfa and Makhroq sites.

Saudi-backed militias’ advance were foiled in Shabaka site, accompanying  with an Apache comb without achieving any progress.

Missile and artillery shelling targeted Boqea desert, Qiyada site, custom and Shabaka site and in front of Aleeb.

Artillery shells were shelled to Qanasin and Sanein sites of Shurfa, Selh site censorship and Ajashir desert, causing direct causalities.

A missile, Zilzal-2, was fired toward gatherings of militias in Boqea desert.

·         In border province of Jizan:

Katyusha rockets were fired toward Saudi soldiers’ gatherings and their military vehicles in Dhahyan center.

A Saudi soldier was shot dead in Haskul site, and two of militias were sniped in Bejl site.

Artillery shelling targeted Saudi soldiers’ gatherings and fortifications in Kheshal, and Malhamah sites.

 Gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militias were shelled by artillery in four Jahaf censorships, Mostahdath eastern Jahfan, Jilah center, Montazah site, Dukhan site and beyond Amod site.

·         In Yemen’s Jawf province:

A military vehicle, loaded with militias, was destroyed by a guided missile in Shawaq valley front of Ghail district, killing all its crew.

·         In Taiz province:

Two of militias were sniped in the north of Khaled camp in Moazea district.

Yemen army’s fire killed a militia in Makha district.

·         In Lahj province:

A Saudi-backed militia was killed by Yemen army’s fire in Kahbub front.

·         In Marib province:

The fire of Yemen army killed a Saudi-backed militia in Serwah front.

·         In capital Sanaa:

The Capital Intelligence Department arrested an international call-smuggling cell that has modern technical equipment managed by the UAE.
