Update: U.S. spy aircraft targeted by missile in Dhamar: Yemen’s army Spokesman

SANAA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Air defenses of the Yemeni army on Wednesday shot down a U.S. spy aircraft, MQ9, in Dhamar province, Yemen’s army Spokesman said in a statement.

The spokesman Yahya Sarie said that the U.S. aircraft was shot down by a suitable missile over the sky of the province.

“We warn the Saudi-led coalition of great surprises to deter the aggression if Saudi-led aggression warplanes will continue to violate Yemen’s sovereignty and target citizens,” Sarie reaffirmed.
