ABYAN, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Six militants were killed wounded on Tuesday in clashes between Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.
The clashes broke out between militias of the so-called the Southern Transitional Council backed by United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Saudi-backed Islah party (Brotherhood)’s militants in Khanfar district.
According the sources, the clashes resulted to several military sites and camps of the Saudi-backed resigned Hadi’s forces took over by the UAE militias.
The sources affirmed that the so-called special security forces of Hadi withdrew from Zinjibar district to Lawder city.
