Social Affairs Minister, UNICEF discuss 6th payment cycle of emergency cash assistance

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Obaid Salem bin Dhubai on Saturday discussed with UNICEF the 6th payment cycle of the Emergency Cash Transfer Project (ECTP).

The move came during his meeting with the UNICEF Representative Sara Beysolow Nyanti, in Yemen.

The officials affirmed that the cash assistance helps the targeted families to cover their basic needs in food, health easily.

The ministry praised efforts by the UNICEF in providing the cash aid for alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the war and siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition.
