Islah party begins war of booby trapped bombs in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – A powerful explosion rocked the southern Port City of Aden on Friday evening, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.According to the sources, the blast took place in Mansoura district.

The blast comes in the context of a series of successive explosions taking place in the city, but the UAE-backed Southern Transition Council (STC) has not been able to control or end what has come to be known as the “phenomenon” of booby trapped bombs in Aden.

Local sources in Aden told” Yemen Press Agency” that the STC militias have failed to arrest a number of leaders of Islah party in Aden province.

The latest was the failure to arrest the interior minister’s secretary in the “l-backed government”, in light of repeated accusations by the Transition Council of the Isalh Party of fabricating bombings and assassinations with the aim of depriving the “STC” of the pleasure of victory.

Observers said that Islah party is trying to impose its presence in Aden by moving to the method of guerrilla warfare and carrying out bombings and assassinations, in order to inform the Saudi-led coalition’s States that the Islah party is a difficult figure that cannot be exceeded in the coalition war on Yemen.

The party must send that message before the dialogue session called by Saudi Arabia.

In a remarkable development, the STC’s assistant secretary-general said that “Islah party is seeking to take the city of Turbah as an “operations room to attack the southern provinces” by “fabricating the Turbah battle in the west of Taiz province.” This was seen by many observers as a sign that the battle to expel the Muslim Brotherhood from Aden to Taiz province.
