Update: Yemeni army snipers shoot five Saudi-led mercenaries in Najran

NAJRAN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Sniper units of the Yemeni army on Friday were able to shoot five mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the Saudi-led mercenaries  were killed in sniping attacks, which took place in front of Sudais location.

Earlier in the day, the army forces launched an offensive against Saudi army mercenaries sites in the West Reshahah area, leaving dead and wounded in their ranks.

Moreover, the army forces also destroyed a Saudi military vehicle in Ajasher desert, killing and injuring all those on board, the official added.

Furthermore, dozens of the mercenaries have been killed and wounded when army forces repelled their attack on army’s positions in Sawh area off Najran region.
