Yemeni drones again attack Saudi Abha Airport in Asir

ASIR, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army, backed by the Popular Committees on Friday launched new wave of aerial attacks on Abha airport in Asir region in the south of Saudi Arabia.

Spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said that” The Air force conducts several attacks on Abha International Airport, using a number of Qasef- 2k drones.”

“The attacks target sensitive locations at the airport and hit its target with high accuracy” Sare’e explained in a statement.

He confirmed that the attacks disrupt air traffic at the airport.

“The drone attacks come in response to Saudi-led coalition crimes against Yemeni people, in line with the Yemeni policy that any continuation of Saudi aggression against Yemen and 15 air strikes that have been carried out in the past hours, he added.
