Yemeni army launches offensive, destroys Saudi military vehicle in Najran

NAJRAN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Friday launched an offensive against Saudi army mercenaries sites and destroyed a military vehicle in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army’s attack targeted the Saudi-hired mercenaries positions in the West Reshahah area, leaving dead and wounded in their ranks.

The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place in Reshahah area.

Moreover, the army forces also destroyed a Saudi military vehicle in Ajasher desert, killing and injuring all those on board, the official added.

Furthermore, dozens of the mercenaries have been killed and wounded when army forces repelled their attack on army’s positions in Sawh area off Najran region.
