Aden residents face water cuts disaster, as fighting intensifies

ADEN, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Governor of Aden province Tariq Sallam on Thursday warned of an environmental disaster threatening Aden residents, after bombing water tank in Jabal Hadid area by the warring occupation militias, which caused water cuts in the areas of Crater, Khor Maksar and Al-Mualla.

In a statement to Yemen Press Agency, Sallam held the Saudi and Emirati occupiers responsible for the killing of innocent people in Aden, especially in Crater area, which is crowded populated, as a result of the pounding of artillery and tanks.

Since the beginning of this week, Aden has witnessed an unprecedented political, military and regional escalation, starting with the forced displacement of people from the northern province there and then through violent confrontations between the so-called Presidential Protection Brigades loyal to Saudi Arabia and the UAE-backed security belt militias.
