PM, UN Coordinator discuss humanitarian activities in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Thursday discussed in Sanaa with UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen Lise Grande the UN and international humanitarian activities in the capital Sanaa and provinces.

The meeting focused on the programs and projects planned by a number of UN organizations and how to cope with the priorities and emergency needs of citizens to alleviate the escalating tragedy as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

The meeting touched on the issue of the medical bridge through Sanaa airport and the efforts exerted by the United Nations and the concerned parties to address this humanitarian file.
