Expatriates Affairs Ministry calls int’l Orgs to re-open Sanaa Airport

SANAA, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Ministry of Expatriates Affairs in the National Salvation Government on Thursday called on international organizations, especially the United Nations and the European Union, to move to re-open Sanaa International Airport.

A statement issued by the ministry considered the closure of Sanaa International Airport “a continuous killing tool against Yemenis for three years.”

The statement referred that the closure of Sanaa airport has increased the suffering of the Yemeni expatriates, affirming that the continual closure of the airport and the imposition of a ban on it is “a black point in the history of the international community and its humanitarian organizations.”
