Water Ministry approves national vision first phase plan

SANAA, Aug. 7 (YPA) – Ministry of Water and Environment on Wednesday approved the ministry’s first phase plan for 2019-2020 of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state according to the guidelines of the vision executive unit.

A meeting held in Sanaa, chaired by Minister of Water and Environment Nabil al-Wazir and attended by chief and members of the vision executive unit at the ministry and its affiliated institutions, reviewed the contents of the plan and the urgent priorities to achieve goals of the first phase by working on providing water and environment services to head towards sustainable development.

The meeting touched on the initiatives to be implemented during the first phase which include several strategic projects that would make a qualitative transform in the water and environment sector.

At the meeting, the Minister praised the efforts exerted to prepare the ministry’s plan, which included various fields and activities related to the water and environment sector.
