Industry Ministry directs traders not to import dangerous toys

SANAA, Aug. 7 (YPA) – Ministry of Industry and Trade on Wednesday directed the specialized bodies to prevent importing and entering the dangerous toys to Yemen, warning traders of taking deterrent measures.

The ministry said the procedures are being based on the laws of domestic and foreign trade No. 5 for 2007 and the Cabinet’s resolution No. 63 for 2018, which provide to prohibit importing and selling these toys in local markets.

It stressed the need to continue and intensify the field campaigns, especially with coming Eid al-Adha, and mostly children to buy these toys, which are dangerous to their lives.
