Saudi Arabia sends large military reinforcements to Aden

ADEN, Aug. 5 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia on Monday sent further military reinforcements to the southern port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

This comes amid the tense situation and the escalation of the militias backed by the UAE occupation in the occupied provinces south Yemen after the so-called Southern Transitional Council adopted explicit hostile positions against the Saudi occupation during the past two days.

“Saudi military vehicles were seen Monday en route to the city of Aden coming from Ataq city of Shabwa province after passing through the border crossing of Al-Wadiah between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, eyewitnesses told Yemen Press Agency.

Sources said that these reinforcements come within the military equipment to establish two Saudi camps in the province of Aden, amid expectations of sending more Saudi troops to Aden during the next phase.

This comes in light of the recent tensions between the Saudi occupation and its followers on the one hand, and the the so-called Southern Transitional Council’s militias backed the UAE occupation in Aden and the other occupied southern provinces on the other.

The move came after the transitional council adopted explicit hostile positions against the Saudi occupation during the past two days.
