Saudi warplanes launch raids to terrorize Mahra citizens

MAHRA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes on Sunday waged several air raids near al-Abri village of al-Ghayda city in Mahra province, eastern Yemen.

Mahra people’s sit-in committee condemned the Saudi air raids on al-Ghaydha, which aimed to show force and terrorize citizens and civilians who reject the existence of Saudi occupation forces in the province.

“The Saudi warplanes’ launching of rockets near populated areas in al-Abri village of al-Ghaydha is hard evidence showing hidden intents of those forces to all people of Mahra,” said the sit-in committee in a statement.

In the statement, the committee renewed its warning to the Saudi forces against harming any citizen of Mahra. It stressed its adherence to its full demands, especially the departure of Saudi forces from the province, the dismissal of the governor Rajih Bakrit and referring him justice for wasting national sovereignty and committing financial and administrative corruption crimes.
